About Us Hobocamp Crafts is a wife-and-husband handmade craft company founded in 2004 by Melissa, a self-taught seamstress, and Zach, an aspiring T-shirt designer. Together they create reconstructed and screenprinted clothing, accessories, stuffed animals, dolls, totes and other goodies. Based out of a cozy home studio in downstate New York, Hobocamp Crafts has shared their handmade items at the Renegade Craft Fair, the Providence Open Market and Brooklyn Indie Market, to name a few. They are expecting their first child in November 2008 and have begun expanding their line to handmade bibs, burp cloths and other kid-friendly accessories. Hobocamp Crafts is not a camp for hobos, or a camp for children, or a camp of any kind. Its name comes from Zach and Melissa's favorite scene from the show "Strangers with Candy".
